Predictive Modeling

Predictive modeling is a mathematical process that seeks to predict future events or outcomes by analyzing patterns that are likely to forecast future results. It has been developed in association with such as machine learning, pattern recognition, and data mining. Specifically, in health care system, these methods help identify patients at high risk of disease or symptoms.


We gain professional experiences in predicting outcomes using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Clinical Data Warehouse (CDW), atmospheric & environment data from Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) and so on.

Real-world & Big Data Analytics

Real-world and big data analytics aim to provide the best evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients. These methodologies have been used to integrate the experience of the clinician, the values of patient, and the best available scientific information to guide decision making about clinical management.
 

We use statistical and machine learning methods to understand and strengthen health systems in the real world using nation-wide big data such as Korean National Health Insurance Services (NHIS), Health Insurance Review & Assessment (HIRA), Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) and so on.

Data Visualization

Data visualization is a particularly effective way of representing information “intuitively, clearly, accurately, and efficiently” from data. 


Collaborations with clinical expertise have been conducted using health data such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR), atmospheric & environment data from Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) and so on. Currently, we focus on interactive data visualization that enables direct actions on a graphical plot to change elements and link between multiple plots.
